Good Morning and Welcome to “FRIDAY” the 19th day of April 2013.
I love Fridays because one Friday in a two week period I work at the office and then go to work at the store and
the other Friday I have off from the office but work at the store.
I love going to work at Bath & Body Works ….. my favourite part is meeting people and my co-workers.
The smells are pretty great, too.
I want to ask you something this morning?
What are your favourite scents and smells from your childhood?
What are your favourite sights and sounds from your childhood?

My favourite scents and smells from my childhood are:
-Fields of crocuses in the spring ….. just a blanket of purple covering the ground….so beautiful.
-Mom making french fries and fish ….. OMG…. loved smell and the vinegar….
-Spring, used to have a scent ….. fresh and clean…
-Lilac bushes …… the aroma …
My favourite sights and sounds from my childhood are:
-baby calves
-school bus picking us up for school
-playing in one of the clean sloughs and catching tadpoles
-Grandma’s flower garden
-playing with my siblings ….. hide and go seek most especially ….
Now here are some of my favourite smells, sights and sounds:
-flowers
-babies
-rain
-apples
-laughter
-sunshine
There are so many things that I love as an adult but it is funny how refined my list was from my childhood.
I did and do still love the simple things in life …..
Better add “COFFEE” to the list ….. I love the smell of coffee.
