Thought for the day….

Good Morning and Welcome to Saturday the 23rd of November, 2013.

Up at 5:00 this Saturday morning as I am watching my grand-puppies for a sleep-over.

Busy day for me, so thought would get an early start as we can always have a nap later.

I want to get laundry started, dish washer unloaded, my blog written of course, have breakfast before they arrive.

Then at 10:00 two of my girl friends are coming over for our “First Annual CHRISTMAS BAKING EXCHANGE” …..

So I want to do the last minute touches on the house and put on coffee and get the treats out.

After that, the plan is to SKYPE my sister …..

This afternoon if the weather permits I would like to take the puppies for a little walk …..

Well time to go and get started on that to do list.

I hope that you are having a great day thus far.

May it blossom and grow and be SPECTACULAR.

Special Hello to: my cousin from Saskatoon ….. I hope that the Riders win the Cup.

Thought for the day….

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday the 22nd of November, 2013.

Man oh man, it is snowing like crazy.

The snow flakes are getting bigger and bigger.

It started out with smaller finer flakes last night and now they are huge.

More and more shovelling.

It looks like it is going to be the year of the shovel.

I am very grateful that I have two of them.

One is perched out on the front porch and the other is by the back door.

Definitely will b shovelling before I go to work at the store this evening.

Already the deck has a bank over my head.

Lots of snow this year.

I love snow but prefer to have less at one time.

It is pretty in the evening when the street lights shine on it making each flake look like a diamond.

Like a diamond mine but outside.

So gorgeous.

Well now that I have told you all about our weather here in Edmonton.

I guess that is where my thoughts lie this morning.

I have lots to do this morning …. ice and decorate sugar cookies (the last piece of my baking exchange).

The baking exchange is tomorrow morning.

Also my grand-puppies are coming over bright and early about 5:00 a.m. tomorrow I believe and Alvin will be with them.

So will have a great day with friends, kids and puppies.

Time to get going.

COFFEE is calling.

Have a great Friday and see you back here tomorrow morning before the festivities be begin.

Special Hello: to all those folks preparing for the holidays.

Always, Carol and Alvin
