Beauty Product that you must try !

A few months ago, I purchased several items from a company named NORWEX.

One of the things that I bought was a product named “Face & Neck Gel”.

Between purchasing and winning baskets from the Shoppers Beauty Gala, I only got to using this product a few days ago.

Well, let me tell you.  It is great.  This gel reminds me of  aloe vera.  It is a light gel.

The gel has a light clean smell (not fragrance), and feels so light and airy on my face.

My face feels so soft.

If you have the opportunity to try it – I would highly recommend it.

Also I was getting a cold sore about the time that I started using this new product, and it is disappearing.

P.S. yes, this is the company that makes those wonderful “cloths” – the ones that clean everything from windows to pots and pans.

My favourite things …… beauty products

This morning,  I would like to share some of the beauty products that I have purchased, use daily and love.  As most women go, I have had a strange relationship with beauty products.  I love trying new things, and always have several shelves in my bathroom(s) stocked full of all things beauty.  But I am sure that most girls can relate. At first, we wonder what to use, and then when and how.  Some of us are fortunate to have someone to show us, and explain how these fascinating items are used.  After all, we all want to look like our favourite celebrity from the fashion magazines.  Besides, why not?  Well, once we float back to earth, and realize that no matter how magical the cosmetic companies deem their products to be ……. we will still look like  ourselves.  Which is a good thing.  Really, why would we want millions of look-alikes wondering around the planet.   We should always want to be the best “ME” ……

When I was in my teens it was all about the latest craze and fad regarding makeup.  Whether heavy blue shadow on the  eyes or false eyelashes.  In my twenties and thirties I was a working Mom so it changed into being a bit more practical, and whatever I could do in a short amount of time and still look nice, and also afford.  Then I hit my forties and it was all about less is more.  Now that I am in my fifties, I am a bit of it all.  I love trying new things.  With your skin tone and hair colour changing, I look for products that will enhance what I have and make me a better ME.  After all, that is what it is all about …… being a better ME or in your case, a better YOU.

So here are my current favourite products and why:

Lancome – Bi-Facil – Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover (it is both gentle and actually removes your eye makeup) – just take a cotton pad and moisten with the remover and gently wipe off your makeup.

Lancome – Waterproof Eye colour Base (Nude) – when I ran out of my previous eye makeup base and went to replace it, I found that it was discontinued.   So on the advice of my local beauty consultant, I tried this. Works great.

Lancome – Hypnose Mascara and Oscillation Powerbooster Primer – both excellent products.

Benefit – Cream Eyeshadow – comes in glass pots and I have the following shades: get figgy (burgandy), gossip betty (purple) and r.s.v.p (pink/brown).  Love them.  No creasing.

My number ONE product which is relatively new to me…. DA DA DA

SMASHBOX – BROW TECH TO GO – before I used this I used another Smashbox brow product but again it was discontinued. (a pattern, I wonder).  It is better and I love it.

Angeled crayon type applicator on one end,  and then on the other  there is a small fine brush.  Between the two of them they make perfect brows.

I am under no contract with any of these companies, I simply use these products and love them.  Just want to share …..
