Living … One day at a time.

Hello,

Rained overnight with partial sunny skies this morning.

Always makes a difficult decision as to what to wear?

Oh well, dressed now.

It is was it is and will be what it will be.

Mouth full.

Yikes.

I will post some of the photos that I took of the little blue/white/black birdies who have made a home in our backyard bird house.

So excited for this little family.

I wished that I would be able to see the babies fly away when they are grown.

We now have a black cat who appears to be dropping by for a visit.

Humphrey is not impressed.

Beautiful black cat.

Alvin is in the house.

He likes cats but not certain if this cat likes dogs.

Or even has been around them.

We are turning into a animal sanctuary.

Which is fine by me.

We did not see the goslings and their parents last night on our walk.

Very disappointing.

We were late going on our walk as I had caught a ride home with my daughter and we stopped at the grocery store.

Too many items ….. too many choices.

I wanted to purchase these new vegan burgers.

They were in the recent flyer and something new.

More than a burger …..

I don’t remember the exact name.

Well they were good but I still love the black bean burgers from COSTCO.

They were so good.

Well it is Friday and that is always a good thing.

Last day of work for the week well at the office anyway.

There is work to do 7 days a week.

Work at the office.

Work at home.

Keeps me busy.

Not a bad thing.

Well I am running a tad behind.

Seems to be the program the past couple of days.

Just want to snuggle with the boy.

Oh well.

I wish you a splendid Friday and weekend.

Roses and Rainbows!

Living … One day at a time.

Hello,

Well, just a few seconds ago we heard a cat cry and then Alvin started to bark and show genuine concern.

I think it might have been Humphrey or at least Alvin thought so.

He is still remains anxious.

Only the one cry so all is well.

Likely Humphrey was in the house and another cat came onto their deck.

I just realized when I signed on this morning that I forgot to write down TAG WORDS.

That is what happens when you are away for a long period of time.

Live and learn and remember.

I am so grateful to have spring and soon to be summer.

The sky is blue and the sunrise was before 5:00 a.m. this morning.

In the evenings it remains light out at 9:00 a.m.

Much easier to get up in the mornings when the sun is shining.

Although for some reason last night I was awake for most of my time in bed.

ARGH.

Oh well, that happens.

I am so grateful for our walks.

To see the green grass sprouting up all around us.

To see birds flying and nesting.

To listen to birdsong.

To see the trees magically almost overnight don leaves.

To see our friends out and about in their yards and for walks.

I am most grateful I think for NATURE and that we live so close to parks.

An escape from the urban craziness.

One of the best things about living on the farm, in the country was the absence of houses every few feet and people.

You could walk for miles and miles without coming across another house ….. people.

Well almost time to hit the road.

Back to work after a long weekend.

Oh, saw a black cat in the back yard ….. that is why there was a howl.

He ran away as soon as I opened the office window.

Pretty cat.

Have an awesome day.

One day at a time…….

Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Monday the 19th day of March, 2018.

One more day until it is officially SPRING.

YAY.

The snow has stopped falling.

Thank goodness.

Well this weekend was truly all about the animals.

I spent a good amount of time keeping HUMPHREY the cat, company.

He is such a sweetie.

Cuddly.

I loved that he places his paw on your leg when he wants more “snuggles.”

Smart cat.

I also had the great pleasure of meeting two doggies.

Both very much pups.

One six months and the other I think was 1.5 years old.

The six month old is named LUNA and she is a pure-bred Lab.

The 1.5 year old is named ZEUS and he is a husky with the most beautiful blue eyes.

LUNA is just learning and ZEUS already knows.

I was helping my neighbour has she has been looking after the two pups along with a cat named INUBUS (not quite sure of the spelling).

The cat is older than the dogs and he is black.

I have met him before and have actually helped look after him.

LUNA likes to jump up and is full of energy.

ZEUS knows not to jump up but is too is full of energy but he listens well.

We had to go in the truck and my neighbour asked for my help.

LUNA does not enjoy a car ride but ZEUS would ride for hours and love it.

Beautiful boys and girl.

So when I arrived back home – Mr. Alvin came to greet me at the door.

He sniffed and sniffed and sniffed.

He knew that I had been “temporarily unfaithful” at least in his eyes.

Two that he did not know.

LUNA and ZEUS were out in my neighbour’s back yard here and there last night and he knew it.

I would said that he is definitely a jealous guy.

I just gave him extra snuggles and tried to build his confidence back up.

Well here we go again – time to go and catch the bus for work.

I hope that you had an awesome weekend.

Have a great Monday.
