Thought for the day ….

Good Morning and Welcome to Wednesday the 6th day of June, 2018.

A beautiful morning with sunshine and blue skies.

There remains at this time a bit of coolness to the air.

But to warm up over the course of the day and the next two.

 

Alvin and I enjoyed our walk last night.

Not too many folks out but we did bump into some folks we had met another time.

Last night I went over to my NORWEX Leader’s house for some additional information.

She is a nice person and reminds me so much of a gal that works at Alvin’s Vet Clinic.

They both sound exactly the same and even similar features.

 

Well my carpool starts vacation this afternoon so it will be back to taking the old City BUS until next Tuesday.

Will have to see what is new on public transit.

Likely should check to see if the schedule changed.

 

Funny how you can be dreaming and wake up and are surprised it was not actually happening.

I had such dreams last night well actually just happened while dozing on the sofa this morning.

We had 1.5 hours give or take, well actually take and I had the most bizarre dream.

There were dogs, me, a house, police officers, water, flooding, fake police officers, plants, carpool, work and more.

 

Well almost time to hit the road.

Happy to have a ride this morning.

Wow, it is Wednesday.

I love Wednesdays.

Mid week.

Pause to reflect on what you have accomplished thus far.

Pause to dream about things to come.

I think that Wednesdays are the one day that we do actually pause to reflect on things.

It is perfect.

I love Wednesdays.

My daughter was born on a Wednesday.

She was the perfect pause …. the perfect accomplishment and the best dream thus far.

Thought for the day….

Good Morning and Welcome to Thursday the 5th day of September, 2013.

What a gorgeous morning.

Just hopped out of the shower and am ready to grab this day by it’s tail and go for it.

I was thinking about something.

Are you where you thought you would be at this point in your life?

Are you happy?

Are you living life to the fullest extent of your being?

Are you giving back?

Well honestly for me, I do not think that I could have dreamed that I would be doing what I am doing at this stage of my life.

When I was a child and young woman,  I dreamed of a big house with a white fence and now my children would be grown up and likely grandchildren.

But as we all know sometimes we change the course of our lives.

I did that early on but I still dreamed of four children even if it meant they belonged to someone else (blended marriage).

Today I have one daughter, a son-in-law, two grand=puppies and one “son” my Alvin …… they are the BEST.

I am surrounded by loving family and friends.

I am not in a relationship other than with my family and friends.

I work two jobs so that I can live in this house.

My very first house at age 52.

I try to write as much as possible.

I have a jewellery business (small but we will grow) with my daughter.

Making jewellery and writing are my two passions … being creative is wonderful.

I still dream and revise those dreams all the time.

Which I think helps you to grow.

I know that my dreams have changed somewhat but I am SO HAPPY.

Somedays it can be “difficult” being on your own but I know that I CAN DO IT.

I am abundant in so much of my life that the remaining part will catch up and that I know for sure.

I try to give back wherever I can ….

I belong to the Capital City Clean-Up and keep my neighbourhood clean by picking up the trash.

Whenever and wherever I can I help others.

Time is always a good thing to give ….. it has more value than you know.

So get out there …. dream …. revise those dreams ….. give back and live your life.

Good Morning and Welcome to Wednesday, the 17th day of July 2013.

WOW, it is an incredible morning here in Edmonton.

The birds are flying by and catching Alvin’s eye …

The sun is shining and the sky is that most captivating blue…

So much promise lies ahead.

So how are you feeling this morning?

It is so important that from the time you open your eyes in the morning and get out of bed that you are “feeling the best you can.”

It makes such a difference if you smile, think of all the wonderful things in your life that you are grateful for and just be happy.

The day will be amazing.

It is important to feel good ….. along with the thoughts and words you express ….. feel the bliss …..

Always better to smile and feel good than frown and be miserable.

Everywhere you look in life those feeling good about themselves and life seem to get further ahead …. it is no surprise.

If you are too busy being miserable …… then that is all you are feeling and that is all you will get.

Try this.

If for example there is someone you know that can make your life uncomfortable at times … they seem to be living in the “pity me” world.

Just always greet them with a smile, show them always feelings of goodness and consideration.

Always think good thoughts and keep your words positive.

They will come around ….. I have tried this and it works.

Well here it is time to go to work ….. another day.

I am grateful to have employment.

Love that sunshine coming in through my windows.

Thought for the day…

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday, the 12th day of July 2013.

As of late I have been reading about work and life philosophies.

Well actually, I have been doing this for several years now.

It seems to me that …..

The underlying theme for each one is much the same.

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION.

It basically boils down to this:

Stay positive and live the best you can in each moment.

Whatever you wish or dream for …. keep focused on  that …. not the journey …. just the final result.

Do whatever you can to realize the wish or dream …. take action.

So stay positive, dream lots and keep in your mind’s eye that goal or end result.

Doesn’t matter what you want …. nothing is too big or too small for this to work.

There is no time line.

Some things come to fruition sooner than later.

But keep the faith.

That’s your job …..

At the end of it all ….. FAITH is the key.

I don’t mean faith necessarily in a religious way but faith in yourself and in the Universe.

Trust perhaps is a better word here.

Trust your own intuition and “gut” feelings.

Well for now my means to an end if going to work.

One day I will realize my dreams.

I will be a published writer and be on the 4th hour of the  Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda.

Welcome to Thursday, December 20th, 2012 ….. only “4” more sleeps until Christmas Eve.

Wow, wow, wow….. can you believe it?  Only 4 sleeps until “SANTA” comes to my house.

I am so excited.

Yes, I believe in him …. any why not, I ask you?

If you are going to believe in someone or something it might as well be something as wonderful and magical as Santa.

I believe in the magic that he brings to my spirit ….

I believe in the wonderment of the holiday season brought through him.

I believe …..

Isn’t it grand?

 

Just wanted to let you know that I will continue to write from now through Christmas.

Normally on my Friday off (which is tomorrow) and on the weekends I do not write on my blog but I want to share with all of you…. the feelings that this time brings to me.

So as we are still leaving early for work, I must sign off.

If you could be anyone, do anything or go anywhere what would you do?

If you could go to sleep one night and wake up the next morning in your perfect life what would that be?

Perhaps you are who you want to be, perhaps you are doing what you want to do and perhaps you are going where you want to go.

Maybe your perfect life is when you wake up each morning.

I really would like to know.

Are we happy with our lives the way they are?

So many questions, today.

Good Morning and welcome to Tuesday, July 31st, 2012.

Last day of July for 2012.

The sun is brightly shining here in Edmonton and it promises to be a GRAND day.

I just know it.

Everyone I meet and everything I touch is going to be magical.

Good things are coming today for us all.

What are your good things?

What would happen to you that would make you bounce up and down like a small child excited for an ice-cream cone or their dream toy?

Mmm, let me see.

What would do that for me?

Well actually a few things.

A visit to my family and friends back in Regina…..

To tell my Aunt Helen that I love her in person ……

To tell my “Dad” Charlie that he is the best and that I love him in person…..

A huge bouquet of fresh cut flowers …… I love flowers….

A shopping trip to West Edmonton Mall where I could buy whatever I wanted…..

To travel to some faraway place….

To be in perfect health and have all the money that I ever would want or need…. (so I could be home with Alvin and take him for walks in the morning and at night) .

I guess we could all list a million things but these are a few of the things that popped into my head….

Whoops, how could I have forgotten ….. to take a trip to New York City with my daughter ……

So keep that list in your mind and think of those things often and they will come about …… the more you think about doing something the sooner it will come…

Thought for the day…..

Good Monday Morning and today is April 16th, 2012.

I had a wonderful weekend.  Did laundry and worked on my census taking.

I went to the remaining residences and handed out call back cards.

So almost finished.

Trudging through the snow was interesting as underneath there is water.

So my feet were a bit on the wet side by the time that I got home.

Alvin got a hair cut yesterday while I was out.

Thanks to his sister and brother-in-law ….. I am forever grateful for their help and love.

This is the day ….. where all dreams come true.

So how about jumping up and down ……. do your happy, elated, so excited that you could pee your pants “dance” ……

Are you with me?

I am jumping up and down in my mind because otherwise how could I type this …. to you ……

Anyway, today is my early day to start work so have to sign off …
