Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Wednesday the 16th day of September, 2015.

Well another rainy night in “Georgia” … er I mean Edmonton.

It has stopped for now ….. we would like to see the sunshine.

The rain has been wonderful but time for some rays.

To add to my mornings I have found that taking the usual bus now is not working.

Most mornings I get there on time and then a couple of days I have been a couple of minutes late.

So time to start leaving even earlier …. 6:20 a.m. this morning.

I will be earlier to work but there is no happy medium.

That is okay.

Better to be earlier than late.

I do not like showing up just as the clock strikes the start hour.

Well this is going to be ultra short as a result.

Have to get the time down again …

Rework the morning routine …

You know how that works when you change the departure time.

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday the 25th day of August, 2015.

Today was my Mom’s Birthday …… Happy Birthday Mom.

We miss you.

The sky is overcast this morning much the way it was yesterday morning.

The sun will come out.

Supposed to be 25.

What gorgeous weather.

Too bad we could not regulate our inside temperatures at work …. I froze yesterday.

Funny, because I am usually warm.

Oh well ….. what can you do.

Put on another layer.

I opted for long pants today instead of capris or a skirt.

I love my walk to the bus stop ….. it is quiet and I can just take in the view.

The roses are blooming again and the fragrance just makes my day.

There is nothing quite like the smell of roses in the morning….

Well here we go again ….. running a bit behind only because I could not get my “behind” out of bed earlier.

Should give me more incentive to get to bed earlier….. but there were things to do …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday the 18th day of August, 2015.

Wow, it was raining overnight ….. deck still wet.

I thought that I heard the pitter patter of raindrops through the night.

Now the sky is beginning to clear and soon the sun shall be shining.

YAY …. beautiful day here in Edmonton.

Last night Alvin and I went for our walk earlier than our usual after supper/between bedtime.

It was so nice …. not hot and it was quiet.

I would suspect that most people were either on their way home from work or eating supper.

He sniffed along the way as he does.

He is so cute …. my puppy dog.

Tonight my group leader is coming over to assist me with my submitting my first order.

How exciting …. Steeped Tea here I come.

It seems like every few months I decide to change things up or sometimes life just changes things.

I guess change is good ….. sometimes perhaps a bit tiring ….. we find that as we get older.

Somedays you just want to roll out of bed as you naturally wake up ….

Maybe take a stroll in the morning about 7:00 a.m. …..

Maybe after lunch … say mid afternoon ….. curl up on the sofa for a nap.

Well I keep telling myself change is good ….. it keeps me learning …. keeps me going.

Going where …. sometimes not so sure …. but that is okay.

Well almost time to hit the trail to the bus ….. the trail is lined with sidewalk and roses …. how blessed am I.

I hope that you have an amazing Tuesday and wherever life finds and take you that you enjoy it.

Our lives are usually much too short so hop on the change bus and go.

We can do it together.

We gather strength and energy from each other.

Thought for the day ……

Good Morning and Welcome to Monday the 11th day of May, 2015.

Beautiful morning after a beautiful day.

So great to see the sky beginning to lighten as me and Alvin arise at 5:00 a.m.

Alvin and I now have a routine, I would say.

Routine are good most especially for pets.

During the week we keep pretty much to a regular schedule.

Do you have a schedule or is every day different?

I am lucky because I have one job now, same hours every day. Upon arriving at home it is let Alvin outside, feed Alvin and then get changed, go for a walk, and then have supper.  Most evenings just do bit of tidying up and anything that requires immediate attention, and other than that we relax on the sofa.  By relax I mean watch a bit of television.  Sometimes I just get lost in the moment gazing out the living room while snuggling with Alvin.

Most of us working folk only have a few waking hours at home during the week.

It is crazy how many hours we spend away from home, at work ….

To have a roof over our heads, food in our bellies and to pay the bills.

I like to get to bed during the week at the same time.

I tend to leave the big jobs for the weekend.

Now that the lawn requires attention I would rake it and water it during the week of course.

Perhaps leave the mowing for the weekend.

We all do what works best for us.

You never know what the day will bring.

I am hoping for a quiet day that I can accomplish everything on my TO DO LIST (at work).

Well here it is almost time to leave and looking out the office window I can see the sunrise ….

It is going to be a glorious day ….. the sky is clear with a slight breeze.

I do kind of enjoy the bus ride to work …. mainly because I get on one bus and go all the way to work.

Sometimes in the evening it takes three buses to get home if you miss that one.

Oh well, life is pretty great on this end.

I hope that you all had a great Mother’s Day ….

I was absolutely spoiled ….. huge ( BIG ) bouquet of roses, gerber daisies, carnations, hydrangeas,  and several other flowers who names elude me at 6:00 a.m. …… the most beautiful card, and the company first and foremost of my daughter and grand-puppies.

We even went out for a bit to run some errands and I picked up one of Mike Dooley’s book (started to read last night), some wooden spoons, couple of cool place mats for the kitchen table and some groceries and a pot of flowers for the deck.

WHAT a great day.

Still excited ……

Okay gotta go ….. have a great Monday.

I hope that you had a great St. Patrick’s Day ….

Enjoyed the colour green in perhaps a drink, food item or maybe sitting on a patch of grass.

My coffee date of last night was pushed to tonight as my friend had a migraine.

They sure are wicked things … I hope that she is feeling much better and can come over tonight.

I miss her.

 

Well we are just a few days away from the official day of spring.

I am so excited.

The snow is melting.

The ice is beginning to disappear even out front of my house.

My house faces the north so it takes a bit for it to go completely.

The bunnies that I have seen are already mostly brown.

The sun is rising earlier and earlier.

YAY ….. spring is on it’s way.

Did I tell you that I L-O-V-E spring?

I guess you likely guessed that several blogs ago.

Well I am a bit late out of the gate this morning …..

My thoughts are about spring …. the warmer days ….. the sun coming up earlier ….. the birds chirping their songs.

Great great spring.

Oh, I even noticed a few blades of green grass.

Perhaps they are just left over from winter …..

But they are green nonetheless and that makes me so happy.
