Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Monday the 11th day of April, 2016.

The sun is beginning to rise in the east and it is just after 6:00 a.m..

Soon it will be light when we get up at 5:00 a.m. and I love that ….

Feels like you have had a day when you get up with sunlight and go to bed with sunlight.

I heard that we missed some snow over the weekend.

We would like some rain …. it is very dry out there.

 

Well hard to believe that it is Monday already ….

We had a great weekend …. very busy.

 

I was thinking …..

Do you visualize your life with your dreams coming true?

Do you see the glass half full?

Do you see the glass half empty?

Positive or Negative.

How do you live your life?

Something to think about.

Even when life is screaming at me, I do try to see the positive.

I think that I see the glass half full.

I am mainly a positive person.

Now that is not to say that I have moments …. we all do.

But I try …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday the 24th day of April, 2015.

Well it is finally Friday …..

Are you thinking that as well?

I know that is like seeing the glass half empty inside of half full but it has been a long week.

Work at the office has been extremely busy and a bit on the stressful side.

But that is life and at the end of the day I am very grateful to have a good job in this economy.

Plans for the weekend?

Well, my “to do list” keeps growing every time I turn around.

So I will be busy.

Lawn care ….. laundry ….. cleaning bathrooms ….. dusting ….. floors …. you know that STUFF.

The best part of the weekend other than being at home with me Alvin is that Amanda and family are coming for brunch on Sunday and a visit.  YAY.

We are still adjusting to the quietness of the two of us.

I am sure it will take time to once again being just the two of us.

I am so grateful to be down to one job ….. two jobs is HARD WORK.

Not the work as much as the time ….

Time away from home …… when home everything has to be done in less time.

Always boils down to TIME.

Either too much or not enough.

I guess for most of us it is not enough.

Just have to reconfigure the best use of it.

So I am grateful to be home in the evenings and weekends.

Well here it is time to put on the finishing touches and catch that old bus to work.

I guess for the most part we are in a routine ….. for now.

I feel great ….

So happy that this day is Friday.

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday the 4th day of February, 2014.

Today my thoughts have been all about being positive.

Thinking positive thoughts and feeling positive.

Whenever anything opposite bubbles up, I will resend it out with a “glass half full spin.”

“Grey skies are going to clear up – put on a happy face.”

That is a line from a song ….. makes sense.

If we put only good out to the Universe then only good shall come back to us.

Do you know those days when you felt like you had the world all wrapped up in a gold box?

On those days you thought only good things, felt only good things and received only good things.

I am also a realist so I know that sometimes there are less than perfect things that happen.

But that is okay as long as you remain firm in your “happiness” and keep feeling good.

So on this Tuesday – have the best day ever.

It is brrrrr cold here in Edmonton.

After Alvin had his breakfast and I opened the door for him to go out …. he sniffed the air and backed away from the door and ran back into the kitchen.

It wasn’t until after my breakfast that he reluctantly went out.

I will tell you it was a quick trip and he ran back to the house with lightning speed.

Oh, my Alvin.  I love him.  He’s so cute.

Welcome to Monday, January 30th, 2012 …

Almost one whole month into the New Year.

So how are things with you all?

Did you make resolutions or promises to yourself about breaking a “habit” or starting a new health care regime?

Or did you just say “to heck with it all” and just try each day to live your very best?

Personally, I just try to live my best life each day ….

Somedays I am more successful than others but all in all, I believe that I do quite well.

I have found that as much as I am a people pleaser ….. I will just say that I prefer to see my glass half full.

I wished that everyone saw their glass half full.

What a wonderful world it would be (I love that line ….. it’s from a old song)

Can you guess which song?

Unfortunately I can hear the words in my head ….. but the name of the song eludes me.

So back to the topic ( see how easily I get sidetracked) …… well at 6:15 a.m. …… it is easy to do that…..  🙂

I am going to keep working on keeping that glass half full and perhaps even one day it will be full to the top or overflowing …..

I guess really it is getting close ….. I have a great life ….. I have my Alvin, my dog  (great companion and has a great personality) ….. I have a wonderful family and great friends.

I have my own home/house, something that I have dreamed of my whole life…… now when I want to paint ….. I can paint until the cows come home…. LOL.

I am in great health, I am pursuing my passions, and hope to make them more dominant in my life in due course (sooner than soon, would be great).

Most days I am very happy …… joyful, even…  I can see a little patch of heaven from my back porch when the skies are clear with twinkling stars and that beautiful moon…

So I am very blessed.

Always remember to take the time and make a list of the things that you love/ are passionate about, ….. and check off the ones that you have or are working towards.

So I hope that you have a “glass half full” kind of day and I wish you that in your life, always.

Thought for the day…..

Here we are ….. Friday, January 27th, 2012 …..

I am always amazed at how it seems we go from Monday to Friday in a blink of an eye.

I know that I have mentioned this on several occasions but it still amazes me.

Time is just one of those invisible forces ….. that continues no matter what.

It doesn’t matter if you are young or old, satisfied or not, happy or not, rich or not, whether you see the glass half-full or not ….. it continues.

It continues at a rate that long ago we determined in increments of seconds, minutes and hours … and so on.

Time is one of those things ….. I think about.

Not for lack of but just because it peaks my curiosity.

So what makes you think and be curious?

I hope that you have an amazing Friday ….

Perhaps a dream will come true today for you.

I hope that you find the time or time finds you.
