Good Morning and Welcome to Saturday the 26th day of November, 2016.

This has been a difficult week since Tuesday evening about suppertime we said our goodbyes to our beloved Elton.

My first grand-puppy.

I am working on a special blog piece in tribute to my/our darling boy whom we miss so much.

It is not ready to be published at this time and it has to be just right.

I am sorry that I did not share this with all of you sooner.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers I know they all helped.

Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Sunday the 20th day of November, 2016.

Today marks the first of two Christmas Events that I am a participant.

This Sunday I will be with Steeped Tea at my friend’s house along with a rep from Stella & Dot and one from Scentsy.

This is my first home party multi vendor event.

I am excited to see the other products and excited to show Steeped Tea to everyone attending.

 

Yesterday it snowed off and on all day but a fine dry snow.

We now have a light blanket covering the ground, rooftops and lawns.

 

Mr. Alvin is downstairs chewing on one of his treats.

He loves to chew and thankfully it has always been his food and treats.

 

The sky looks a white grey colour as I look out of my office window.

Just seems like no break from the ground to the sky all one colour.

I guess winter is officially here.

It feels like it now.

We have been so blessed with a warm November.

 

Well time to go and put the finishing touches on preparation for the Christmas Event.

I hope that you all had an amazing weekend.

My thoughts, and every ounce of positive energy are directed to my grand-puppy Elton.

I hope that he has many many more good days and less bad ones.

Thought for the day ….

Good Morning and Welcome to Thursday the 9th day of June, 2016.

It is overcast this morning and has been since early on.

Last night after work as soon as Alvin had finished eating and having a drink we went for a walk.

We got almost half way round the lakes when it started to rain, big drops.

That was my cue to get us back home.

Sure enough it started coming down harder and harder.

We were only home about three minutes when the heavens opened and it POURED.

Mixed in with the rain were bits of ice – hail, about the size of a nickel, I would say.

I was so happy that we made it inside before the hail.

I do not mind getting wet although we would have been VERY wet, soaked to the skin.

We can use the moisture and it is a good thing.

I hope that the rain went up north.

Well today is a vacation day for me that is the reason for a much later than usual blog.

My grand-puppy Elton is spending today and tomorrow with us.

Yes, I have tomorrow off.

SO excited to just bum around.

I have some work to do on my tea business and perhaps re-organize another garage sale if the weather will be nice this weekend.

Otherwise for today …. the plan is to RELAX.

Just chill with my BOYS, my pack, my peeps.

Looks like the sun might be coming out.

Well I hope that you have a glorious Thursday.

Time to go and enjoy a big mug of COFFEE.

Wow, second last day of April left to enjoy.

I am so overjoyed to report that our beloved Elton went home with his Mom & Dad from the Hospital yesterday.

He continues to do better and better.

We thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.

To everyone who aided in his care and surgery, there are no words other than THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

You brought our little guy back home to his Mom & Dad where he belongs.

His time is not yet to leave them.

I am eternally grateful.

Good Morning and Welcome to Monday the 27th day of April, 2015.

I must tell you that there is nothing quite like pancakes with your daughter surrounded by our pups.

Good food …. excellent company ….. best Sunday ever.

The sun shone which is exactly what you would expect for this special day.

It was great.

I am so blessed to have such an amazing daughter.

She helped me set up a television in the basement (which they gave me).

Followed by finishing up some paperwork ….. the fun stuff, of course.

Then a trip to COSTCO.

Whoops, we knew when we hit the parking lot that it was busy.

Kudos to the staff at customer service (return) and to the check-out staff as they had things moving right along.

We got in and got out.

Successful trip …..

Followed by a glorious walk with me Alvin before supper.

Perfect day.

I guess my thoughts are all about the many blessings in my life.

If you just take a wee look about you will see that there is much to hold in gratitude.

Make that list.

Each day alive is a blessing.

Do the things you are passionate about and surround yourself with the ones you love.

Then life is perfect….or very close.

Your perfection is your perfection.

Not anyones’ but yours.

Thought for the day ….

Good Morning and Welcome to Sunday the 3rd day of April, 2016.

I like how April just rolls off the tongue.

I love the sound of the word April.

I love that spring is in full swing and summer is just around the corner.

I look each day to see if the bulbs I planted last fall are starting to grow.

I love that most of the snow has melted … what would be left after a plus 22 degree day here in Edmonton.

I love that Alvin always has an eye on me.

I love that wherever I go he is sure to follow.

I love that I have my own house, a forever dream.

I love that I have a wonderful daughter.

I love that I have a great son-in-law.

I love that I have Elton, my awesome grand-puppy.

I love that we have so many angels around us.

I love every waking moment.

I love the sunshine.

I love so much “laughter.”

I love my family and friends.

Is it not funny how I went from saying how much I loved the sound of the word April to some of the things that I love.

One thing leads to another.

 

I hope that you have an awesome Sunday.

Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday the 18th day of December, 2015.

Only 6 sleeps until Christmas EVE.

It is a crisp morning here in Edmonton.

The wind is blowing a bit so that makes it feel colder.

But it is Friday and I have three days to work after today so I am HAPPY…..

YAY …. so Happy it is the weekend.

Tomorrow morning two of my friends and I are getting together for our Annual Christmas party.

We eat, drink lots of coffee/tea, exchange a small gift and LAUGH, we visit and LAUGH.

Isn’t that the best kind of party ….. we just have fun …..

So am more than excited for tomorrow morning.

 

Do you pick out your clothes to wear to the office/school the night before or do you wait until morning to chose?

I pick my outfit and jewellery the night before …. sometimes I change my mine in the morning.

The sweater I have picked out .. not quite sure but time is evaporating so I will just wear it.

Maybe because it is a loose weave crocheted typed sweater and I feel cold.

Oh well …… I am wearing it.

Just a sweater, right?

 

My grand-puppy Penny has a 4 p.m. appointment at the Vet so everyone might be here when I get home from work, would be a nice treat.

 

Well this is short but Mr. Alvin needs to go back outside ….. I know this is likely more info than you require but he did not poop …. always like him to do so before I leave.

Too long without going.

Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Wednesday the 10th day of June, 2015.

It is a beautiful morning here in Edmonton …. sun coming up with a bit of cloud cover.

Mid week.

We had a strange night …..

About 8 p.m. or so I just felt so tired and actually fell asleep for about 40 minutes on the sofa.

It was after that ….. that I decided might as well go to bed.

So we were in bed before nine which is rare.

Of course, Mr. Alvin did not settle down right away and he was also up bright and early.

After having my shower this morning …. Mr. Alvin treated himself to licking some of the coconut oil from my legs.

What a silly dog….. it was funny trying to keep my legs away from him.

Perhaps I will start giving him a bit everyday and then he will leave my legs alone.

I have been giving him these chews from the Vet.

He really likes, understatement, really loves them.

He wonders about the house hiding them and last night ….. he decided he was going to bury one in the back yard.

I found this out when he brought it back in the house at one point and it was covered in dirt.

YUCK.

So as any good Momma would do …. I wanted to wash it.

Only thing was …. he thought that I wanted it … wanted it….. and growled at me.

Can you imagine?

Growling at the “Mom.”

Finally after tricking him with some of Elton’s dog food that was left behind and we used as treats (because Elton has allergies and by the way, Elton is my grand-puppy).

Anyway he dropped the chew and I grabbed it up with my other hand.

Washed it up and that was that.

He is a funny guy, Mr. Alvin.

He always makes me smile.

Thought for the day….

Good Morning and Welcome to SUNDAY the 8th day of June, 2014.

YAY, it is a beautiful sunny cloudless morning here in Edmonton.

My daughter and grand-puppy Penny are here to have a visit and coffee before I go to work.

I am so blessed as she will drive me to the store and then Alvin will spend the day at her house.

Yesterday was a great day ….. found some gorgeous beads for the wedding in August.

Our second wedding jewellery and second wedding held in Vegas …. I see this being a trend!!

I had the best visit with a neighbour who usually we just visit outside when Alvin and I pass their house.

They have the most beautiful yard and we always stop to say hello when they are outside.

Alvin loves them.

It was a great day.

The only thing on my to do list that I did not get to was chatting with my sister ….. so hopefully this evening after work.

I should be home by 7:00 and that will give me plenty of time.

Life is breezing along and going well.

There are always a few hiccups along the way …. but one only has to think of the silver lining in the situation and find a way to make it better.

Sometimes I know it is not always possible but most times.

It is a matter of living your life to the fullest every moment with no regrets.

Do the best …. be the BEST …… then your life will be the BEST.

I am so grateful ……

So on this sunny Sunday I am feeling wonderful and looking forward to the next moment.
