Thought for the day…..

Well, GOOD MORNING …… Happy Thursday December 8th, 2011.

So how are you this morning?

I hope that you sprang out of bed.

Full of joy and ready to have the best day of your life.

I sprang out of bed until I realized that it was 3:20 a.m.

At that point, Alvin had jumped off the bed thinking it was time to get up.

So we both went back to sleep until 4:45 which is a more respectable time……

It was funny but not …. because when I opened the back door to let him out for his morning constitutional ….

He just stood there ….. sniffing and sighing and then turned around and went back into the kitchen.

Guess his bladder is stronger than mine.

So cute.

Anyway, we settled into our morning routine.

He did finally go outside but guess who put on her coat and boots and of course, mitts and went out with him?

Mrs. Jones, Ms. Smith, my neighbour …… no sir … it was ME.   LOL.

That’s it ….. just some sharing today…… we all go through our fun little things every morning no matter who we are…..

This is a great day …. ENJOY…..

Share your day with someone or multiple someones.

Special Hello to:  FAMILY ……

Always, Carol

Thought for the day……

Wow, Congratulations today is Thursday, December 1st, 2011.

I noticed when Al went out for his morning constitutional (and I use that word loosely) …. it was a bit cooler than yesterday.

But we are lucky, really blessed here in Edmonton as our weather has been wonderful.

Yesterday was so warm ……

I had a bit of a walk at lunchtime and also with Alvin after work.

Both walks were great.

I hope that wherever you are …. that you are toasty warm.

So on this first day of December ….. I wish you comfort, warmth and many blessings.

Special Hello to:  my friend Les ….. I miss you buddy.

Always, Carol

Thought for the day……

Good Thursday, November 17th, 2011 Morning!!

How are you today?

When you wake up in the morning …. how do you feel?

My alarm goes off at 5:00 a.m. but most of the time we are up before that as Mr. Alvin wants to go out to begin his “morning constitutional.”

I love that phrase used mainly by people of my grandparents generation.

Anyway ….. back on track ….

I feel great and most mornings well rested.

When I take Alvin out …. I can hear vehicles running and know how lucky I am to be just getting up.

I suppose one gets used to those extra early morning schedules.

So I hope that each and every one of you out there ….

Is well rested and expresses your gratitude as you begin the day.

I always think and say what I am grateful for and also part of my morning routine or ritual is writing in my gratitude journal.

I do not take anything for granted.

Being grateful for everything  ….. the air that you breathe, the water you drink and the heat that keeps you warm on a cold winter’s night ….

Have a great day.

Special Hello to: all those people who are already keeping a gratitude journal.  WAHOO.  GREAT JOB.

Always, Carol
