Good Morning ALL! Happy Sunday and I hope that you are all doing great? We are doing well and will be going for a walk after I write this post and wash off the charcoal mask from my face and get dressed. I guess going for a walk in my pj’s would not likely be a good idea. Someone might think that there is something wrong with me and report me to the authorities, lol. The sky was overcast earlier, it rained overnight and then sun was shining brightly and there are now clouds moving in. I think it is supposed to be another “rainy” day. We need the moisture well actually the ground needs the moisture so that the plants, grass and trees can grow and thrive. Always better when we have rain as opposed to watering them from the tap. I love sitting on my back deck taking in the beauty of the flowers and marvel at how much they grow. They seem to have grown overnight. Actually I think that they prefer the “rain” than water from the tap.

I hope that you had a great Saturday. Ours was quiet. We walked in the morning, did some laundry, I actually did some work with photos on my phone and computer. Trying to delete the duplicates and get both cleaned up. I do not need to have so many of the same shots and also need to delete the bad shots. Will get there. Today after our walk and coffee and breakfast, will work on the photos for a few hours again. One thing about working on the computer the time flies and what feels like ten minutes has been three hours. It is a “good” way to lose time but necessary in this case. I also did some writing ….. just a little….. some ideas ….. oh, that was yesterday. Will have to bring up the laundry from the basement that has been drying since being washed yesterday. Oh, yesterday on our second walk, we stopped at Alvin’s best friend’s house. He always wants to go in and I have to say “not today” as we cannot stop everyday. We had a nice visit and I had tea. When we arrived it was starting to thunder which would have lightning involved so Teddy’s Mom said she would drive us home and she did.

Dreaming, man have I been doing a lot of that lately. Strange dreams. I remembered a bit when I first got up and now have forgotten. I know that Alvin was in them and some folks that I have not seen for many years.

Last night I watched another David Attenborough movie on Netflix. This was about the past, current and future of this planet. Very interesting. I just wished that everyone was on the same page with respect to our planet. Clearly we are not. I am with him.

Here are some statistics from his movie that were interesting and downright scary:

1937 – World Population: 2.3 billion, Carbon in atmosphere: 280 parts per million and remaining wilderness: 66%

1954 – World Population: 2.7 billion, Carbon in atmosphere: 310 parts per million and remaining wilderness: 64%

1960 – World Population: 3.0 billion, Carbon in atmosphere: 315 parts per million and remaining wilderness: 62% –

1978 – World Population: 4.3 billion, Carbon in atmosphere: 335 parts per million and remaining wilderness: 55%

1997 – World Population: 5.9 billion, Carbon in atmosphere: 360 parts per million and remaining wilderness: 46%

2020 – World Population: 7.8 billion, Carbon in atmosphere: 415 parts per million and remaining wilderness: 35%

You should watch these movies they are so interesting and informative. We cannot survive without the biodiversity of the wilderness. Something to think about.

David was 93 years old when he made the movie.

I do hope that you will watch them. We all need to watch them and step up.

Time to wash off this mask and get out for that walk before we have some more rain.

Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Wednesday the 13th day of April, 2016.

How are you doing this fine mid week morning?

I am doing pretty good – we are doing very well, I mean.

Me and Alvin.

Alvin enjoyed having Elton come for the day.

I took the boys for a walk after they had supper and stuff.

We even visited with some folks in the neighbourhood.

It was a great walk.

Elton was so full of energy …. you would never know he was almost 13.

So wonderful to see.

I hope that when I am of equal age that I have that much “energy and fire.”

Age is something that truly creeps up on you …. even though it is just a number ….. there are things that come with age.

Like forgetting things (but you can do puzzles that help).

Like getting stiff (exercise more, most especially stretching, do some yoga).

Like wrinkles (wash and moisture and do no smoke).

Like insomnia (drink herbal teas and take warm baths before bed).

Like being grumpy (have some patience).

These are just a few things that have been noted between me and friends who are over 1/2 century mark.

But if you live your life – take things in stride.

Reach for the sky (dream).

Then age is just a number and it is what happens.

Thought for the day…..

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday the 4th day of April, 2014.

Today is 4th day of the 4th month of the year 2014.

Sure lots of fours.

I am always intrigued by numbers.

How they arrive to you on a daily basis.

Whether you believe in numerology or not – numbers always play a significant role in our lives.

Numbers are attached to everything we do.

Each second, minute, hour, day, month and year has a number attached to it.

Sometimes if you have a number or series of numbers that you attach a certain amount of “luck” to ….. they sometimes appear in the oddest of places.

On a license plate, on a street sign, on television, in a newspaper, in a book or absolutely anywhere you could see.

So four has a nice ring to it.

I like the number four …..

No matter what you say or do or think ….. there is always a number attached to a memory.

So take a couple of minutes and think about what memories are attached to say “4” ……

They may be pleasant or not so much …..

I hope that you enjoy this 4th day of the 4th month ……

I am happy it is Friday and that I get to go and see my friends at the store ….. and work, of course.

Oh, I also get to shop for more beads for a special order ….. so will be fun.

It is always wonderful when I get to spend time with my daughter.

Also have a coffee date with my friend who just got back from Hawaii a few days ago.

So Saturday is going to be a FUN day.

Thought for the day…..

Good Morning and Welcome to Thursday the 29th day of August, 2013.

I was just wondering how many people think about the passing of time.

Last night on our way home from work we, being my daughter, son-in-law and myself were just chatting.

We remarked on how I am now 56 and my Mom was just 55 when she passed away almost twenty years ago.

Also that my paternal Grandmother was 56 when I was born.

She was 32 when she gave birth to my Dad in 1933.

My daughter is 33.

My Mom would have celebrated her 75th Birthday a few days ago and my Dad would be 80 this November.

My paternal Grandmother was 97 when she passed in 1998.

I am always enthralled by numbers and such.

Do you notice these things?

Does it make you wonder?

Another thought …. today is my last day of work at the office and then I am officially on vacation for one week.

I am so looking forward to getting my office and computer stuff in order and working on our Dear Stella Jewellery.

Doing all things that I love.

Also doing some visiting and coffee “ing” and perhaps having an extra walk or two with my Alvin.

Well on this absolutely gorgeous Thursday morning from my home to yours, have a wonderful day.

Thought for the day…..

I always wonder …. why certain number combinations keep showing up in my life.

I was born in 1957 and “57” has been showing up daily for the past couple or so months.

Does that mean anything?  I do not know.

Do certain number combinations show up in your life?

That is what I am pondering for this 9th of July.

I would LOVE for the SIX numbers on my 649 lottery ticket to come up …..

Now that would be one series of numbers that I know definitely know the meaning for …. to…. YAY.

Happier life …….  I would be as happy as I am at any given moment but it would mean “complete peace of mind” …

After all isn’t that what we all strive for ….. peace of mind ……

So after that thought provoking jumble of words …… HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY NIGHT.
