Thought for the day ….

Good Morning and Welcome to Sunday the 18th day of March, 2018.

The sky is white.

The rooftops are white.

The cars are white.

The tops of the fences are white.

The trees are white.

The snowbanks are white.

The ground is white.

It has been snowing since yesterday except for a small break earlier this morning.

Fine snow coming down.

Coming down.

Coming down.

It appears to be heavier now.

Shovelling, shovelling, shovelling.

I shovelled yesterday on my second visit to see Humphrey.

OH my Humphrey, what a guy.

He is a three legged orange fluffy cat.

The new love in my life. (don’t tell Mr. Alvin).

On my second visit of the day after we had snuggled in his favourite position.

Better description …. I picked him up ….. he was sitting in my lap upright with his back to me.

I placed one arm under his front paws and he rested on me.

The other hand I used to massage and stroke him.

He purred and I relaxed in the moment.

What a guy.

When I went to put him down when it was time for me to go home to Alvin.

He placed one paw on my leg as if to say “please stay.”

I did.

How can you say no to that.

I knew Alvin would be wondering what was going on.

Oh my boys.

One cat named Humphrey.

One dog named Alvin.

Both guys that have won my heart.

Both so cute that you could just cry.

Time to go.

Shovelling to do.

Friends coming for visit at 10:00 a.m.

Coffee to drink and tea.

Visiting to do.

Laughter to take.

What a great day.

Exercise and laughter.

That will help my core …. the middle section of my body.

Who has decided to expand with perhaps a bit of help from me.

Oh well.

More exercise and more laughter.

That is and cut down on the amount that I eat.

That would likely help.

I cannot seem to remember that I am now 60 and not 20.

Watch what we eat.

Okay, time to go and do some shovelled.

Front first and then the back.

Alvin can come and help with the back.

Happy Sunday.

Good day to have some fun.

Special Hello to:  my friends and family all over the world.

Always, Carol & Alvin
