Thought for the day ….

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday the 17th day of April, 2018.

No sight of a sunrise at this time as the sky appears to be one gigantic snowdrift.

Just when we had clear streets and sidewalks.

I will not be putting away my snow boots as yet.

They are forecasting +12 celsius for Friday and Saturday.

WOW.

That will make a dent in the snow.

Hopefully this was the last snowfall.

The birds are returning from down south only to find snow covering landing spots and possible homes and their food sources.

The last bunny I spotted was still a mix of brown and white.

Still not completely brown.

I guess we will go from winter/spring to SUMMER.

Not much in between.

 

Well I enjoyed my day off with Alvin.

I did some writing and SHOVELLING.

The snow felt like lifting a huge pail of water.

Hard to push and hard to lift.

I managed to get it done but not an easy task for sure.

 

So back to work.

I so enjoy the long weekends.

Time at home with me, Alvin.

My ride is returning from vacation so will begin to carpool once again.

Will be nice to leave home twenty minutes later and arrive home more than thirty minutes earlier.

It is good for Mr. Alvin.

The days are way too long for him to be home alone.

 

Well time to fly.

I hope that you have a wonderful day.

My wish is that you are doing at least one thing that you love to do.

Even if you are stuck in a job that you are not passionate about …. take up a hobby that you love to do.

That will make the job seem less “stuck.”

No matter what you do in life – you have choices.

Remember.

Thought for the day…..

How do you really feel at any given moment throughout the day?

Are you a positive person?

Are you resting in the other direction?

Do you feel genuinely happy?

Or do you feel a bit blue most of the time?

Do you feel good/positive or not so good/positive based on what others say and think of you?

More often than not we tend to base our feelings good, bad or indifferent on the “feelings” or thoughts of others.

I want you (and me, too)  from this moment on …… feel based on you.

Based on what is going on around you to you and only you.

If you feel so excited that you could burst because you just saw the cutest baby squirrel.

Then feel that excitement …. feel it down to your core and let those feelings envelope you.

If you feel happy eating a peanut butter sandwich, then do it.

If laying down on the grass in your backyard late at night watching the stars makes you feel so blessed…

Then by all means do that …..

Do whatever it is that makes you HAPPY!

Whatever you are passionate about …. do it.

On this day ….. I am passionate about writing on my blog.

It makes me feel great ….. everything else falls by the wayside.

I am in my own space and time.

For these precious moments I am at my very best …. I feel so happy that I could burst and feel so blessed that I have the words and the means to share them.

Thought for the day….

I was pleasantly reminded yesterday to do what I am passionate about …… somewhere along my journey of recent …. I was sidetracked.  While looking for employment, I forgot to take a few minutes to write on my blog and to work on my jewelry.  So thank you so much to MY  girls (Amanda, Gillian and Anick) who helped me see the light of day.  After all, how can you succeed in life if you are not working on something that you are passionate about ….. right??  It was really a case of too many things and going in multiple directions at the same time.  I feel more calm, and ready to take on the world.  I did secure a part-time job at Bath and Body Works in West Ed Mall, and I love my new co-workers.  My first shift is at the end of this week.  I think this position will show case my people skills, and I look forward to that.  If you are ever in the mall …. stop by and perhaps I will be in the store at that time.

Oh, today is the 500th day of life shared with Alvin.  Can you  believe it?  500 days with him.  WOW.  Happy 500th Alvin (who is curled up beside my computer chair) ….  ah….so cute….  🙂

So thought for the day is this ….. always, and I mean always follow your passion  ….. no matter what is going on in your life.

We all need to follow our dreams and our passions.  I hope for both you and me that our “passions” and “dreams” are realized.
