2021

Good Morning ALL! How are you this morning? We are fine, not quite as much straight through sleep as I would have liked but that is okay. We will make sure that we head off to bed tonight in better time. Just saw flashing red lights out of my office window and turned my head to see the big GREEN trash/garbage truck. The dark cloud banks lining the southern horizon appear to be mountains with pale blue skies above. How very beautiful. A great morning sky. Not often the clouds arrange themselves like this but when they do it is truly magnificent. We had some snow stick from last night and oddly enough the snow that was on the front sidewalks earlier this morning had disappeared when we were up earlier. I did not think it was warm enough to melt. Oh well, it has left. I think that I am going to share some favourite photos this morning. I have no further words that can contend with the beauty of the skies outside.

I hope that you enjoy the photos as they remind me of the months to come.

Continuing to live with kindness, respect, compassion and patience.

Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Thursday the 1st day of October, 2015.

We are now well into the throes of fall …. or autumn as I sometimes like to call it.

The leaves are a multitude of amazing hues of yellows, oranges and reds.

They warm my heart.

In between all of the colours of fall peer some of the flowers that have managed to stay in perfect form despite some of the cool night temperatures.

My front flower bed is still growing strong.

Last night on our walk we had three visits with friends along our walk.

It was fantastic….. we talked of my friend’s flowers and then my upcoming open house for Steeped Tea.

At another friend’s we discussed “hand me downs” …… growing up with them…..we girls loved them, her husband did not.

Laughed at silly Alvin with a Dad and his three little ones.  My how he loves the kids.

It was one of the best nights ever.

The weather was perfect …. company was awesome ….. feeling so great.

Well here we go again almost time to leave for work.

My how that time always creeps up on me …..

Oh well …..

Time does go by one second at a time ….

I hope that you are out and about enjoying all of the sights and smells of fall.

Stop and crunch the leaves that have fallen onto the ground.

That is one of my most favourite things to do.

I also like to throw them up into the air ….. I always do this after I have raked them from the front lawn.

So much fun.

Be three again ….. why not!

Happy Thursday to you all.

Enjoy…

Special Hello to: my sister …. by the way ….. they have one gorgeous house …. I finally figure it out …..

Thought for the day ….

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday the 29th day of September, 2015.

Happy Birthday to “S”…. a co-worker of mine.

It is dark outside but no surprise as it is that time of year.

The days have been lovely.

With warm temperatures and sunny skies (for the most part).

I am feeling so much better today …. not sure what happened yesterday.

I believe that Mr. Alvin was happy that I was at home with him yesterday.

He enjoyed sitting outside on our deck for some time yesterday afternoon.

Officially has been fall for a few days now.

The trees are an array of warm inviting colours: yellows, oranges and reds.

So beautiful.

Funny as many of our flowers are still blooming as well.

I always am amazed at how quickly the mornings go after you arise.

Here it is almost time once again to leave for the office.

This morning I am catching a ride with my neighbour as I am taking “cupcakes” for our birthday celebration.

We take turns and I had the last birthday ……

Oh, glorious fall …….

Happy Tuesday everyone.

Enjoy these days …..

Special Hello to: my friends back in Regina who are publishing cookbooks and making beautiful art.

Always, Carol and Alvin
