Thought for the day…..

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday the 19th day of May, 2015.

It is bright, sunny and warm.

Well it is almost noon ….. not the usual early morning start.

Mr. Alvin was sick to his stomach last night.

So we spent all night awake.

I have realized that I am not 20 when it comes to staying up and then functioning the next day.

So I took a vacation day to stay at home with him and to also get some sleep.

I made an appointment with his Doctor for after lunch to have him checked.

He seems okay but not quite his own self this morning.

Kind of jittery ….. and just like a child, clingy.

He goes from room to room with me …. stuck like glue.

I hope that he is okay and I am sure that he is ……

I am so grateful that his Doctor is close by …..

He is my little guy, and important.

Changed bedding and time to throw it all into the laundry.

Thank goodness for the spray cleaner that my daughter gave me for little messes such as these.

Have a great day.

Special Hello to: all those people with four-legged babies …. they are our babies.

Thought for the day……

Good Morning and Welcome to Wednesday the 23rd day of July, 2014.

Last night was the last night before the kids and grand-puppies move in …..

Guess what ….. Mr. Alvin was sick to his stomach about 1:30 or so in the morning.

Luckily he did not get the bedspread or sheets too yucky.

But cleaning bedding in the middle of the night is always tricky as one is generally sleepy.

After all was said and done ….. I could not fall back to sleep because I just laid beside him like an anxious Mom.

Just making certain he was okay.

Needless to say I am a bit on the sleepy side this morning.

Tonight will be exciting because the kids move in …… tomorrow morning will be Christmas morning with everyone here.

YAY.

Oh, Alvin seems to be feeling better.

Well because I am finding it slightly difficult to wrap my thoughts together and then to put them in coherent sentences …..

I will say “have a great day.”

I hope that happiness saturates your day.

Special Hello to: all the parents of two-legged and four-legged beings ….. it is a tough but rewarding job.

Always, Carol and Alvin
