Hello, back to work as it is Monday morning.

What a grand weekend!

 

Happy Birthday Wishes going out to my niece on her 35th Birthday.

 

Alvin had his best friend sleep over on Saturday night.

We enjoyed Humphrey’s company for the day on Saturday.

We had the distinct pleasure to meet the newest member of the extended family “Miss KOBI” on Saturday afternoon.

The weather held out so we enjoyed wonderful walks with an extra long one today with Teddy (one hour even though the wind was cold, we held on).

The laundry and cleaning was completed.

I had tea with Teddy’s Mom not once but twice this weekend.

Texted with my brother J.

Put a serious dent in my Christmas cards.

All of the cards to be mailed are addressed, some letters written and should be finished by end of this week so that I can pop them into the mail.

Even enjoyed a few shows on television.

I am gloriously happy and content at this moment.

Life is wonderful and I am so grateful.

I even submitted a good sized STEEPED TEA ORDER which was nice.

 

Sometimes, no most times it is the small things in life that are the most wonderful.

Like tea with your friends.

Meeting a new member of the family.

Walking in the sunshine.

Being Alvin’s Mom.

Writing letters with Christmas cards.

Meeting up with Alvin’s girlfriend and her Mom when walking with Alvin & his best friend Teddy.

 

I hope that you had an awesome weekend.

Good Morning and Welcome to Thursday the 22nd day of February, 2018.

Warming up?

Spring only a few weeks away?

Time will tell.

 

Are you watching the Olympics?

Unbelievable performances.

I was watching the half pike last night.

Sure hope that is the right name.

Some of the athletes had some terrible falls but all that I saw got up.

Crazy.

Some over 5 meters into the air.

WOW.

 

Well my little athlete was up extra early ….

At like 3:30 …. let him outside.

Then hit the sofa until 4:00 when we got up and he ate and then back outside.

Just I wait until the time changes ….. that is always fun.

Perhaps it will work out.

Tonight he is going for a few days to his sister’s house.

He will have fun minus the car ride.

His Momma will sleep until the alarm goes off, hopefully.

 

Well here it is time once again to leave the house.

I am wearing a new pair of pants that shrunk after being washed.

Wha a a, oh well.

I think shorter is in style right now.

No time to change and I am not wasting a new pair of pants.

After a few washes they will be capris and right in time for summer.

Laughing ….. smiling …. gotta go.

Thought for the day …..

Good Afternoon and Welcome to Saturday the 4th day of November, 2017.

Well already it has been a great day ….

Up early …… my daughter slept over last night.

She had a dream about this REUSE centre located in our City and wanted to go at some point.

We decided after our pumpkin pancake breakfast to check this place out.

They carry mostly paper products ranging from cards to books and everything in between.

We were barely in the door and she noticed this cutting mat.

She has been looking for one for a long time.

It was brand new still in the retail plastic.

They normally sell for about $50.00 and our total including items for both of us was $5.00.

We both found lots of items that we will use ranging from cards to books to magazines to wall paper and stencils.

I found enough Christmas Cards to last me a lifetime.  Bonus.

We had a great Friday night after having homemade Chili and garlic buns with deep dish apple pie for dessert.

The tree is up and partially decorated.

I have all afternoon to decorate and do laundry.

After a busy evening and morning ….. it is time to head out for a walk.

Time for Mr. Alvin …..

It has been snowing with the sun shining this morning and into this afternoon.

Which seems totally strange but beautiful.

I hope that you all have an awesome Saturday.

Time to get this show on the road.

Happy Friday, January 6th, 2011 ….. Happy Birthday to my BF Linda who lives in Regina.

Wow, here we are again at Friday.

Alvin slept at his sister’s house last night so the house is extra quiet this morning.

I slept later than usual and changed up my routine so it seems weird, a bit strange.

Do you change up your routine?

Change is good …. change means growth….. so I guess this was a good thing.

But somehow I cannot decide “winter boots” and carry shoes, or just wear “runners”……. OMG….

I miss my Alvin …… it is nice to have some alone time but …….

So on this Friday ….. the end of the first full week in the New Year …….
