Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Saturday the 31st and last day of October, 2015.

Happy Halloween All.

I am expecting about 5 p.m. to have some Trick or Treaters to our door.

It is always exciting to see all of the costumes.

Sometimes there is a theme running through them.

Depends on the fad of the day.

Yesterday at the office our group won a PIZZA PARTY.

We received so many compliments for our costumes.

Snow White, the 7 Dwarves, the Evil Queen and her Mirror.

It was so much fun.

I ran to run an errand outside the office in the afternoon and one woman on the street initially thought I was Santa Claus until she saw the name on my toque “GRUMPY.”

It was funny because I was not dressed in red (my shirt underneath my coat was red but my coat was black).

The white beard confused people.

Others did not think that I looked like a Grumpy.

It was fun.

We had a pot luck in the office for lunch with so much food including awesome desserts.

There were so many great costumes.

An older woman, trolls, clown, Minnie Mouse, a show girl, the three fairies from Cinderella (great costumes) and many more.

Oh, on the way home from work on the bus I was showing the photos of our costumes to a friend and the lady beside her asked “where did you buy your costumes?”

I replied “we made them.”

She said that her friends wanted to go as that “theme” next year.

It was a great day.

Well before the treaters come about I have to do some errands and take Mr. Alvin for a walk.

It was raining hard on my home from work last night.

Now did that seem strange on October 30, 2015.

Thought for the day …..

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday the 30th day of October, 2015.

The second last day of October.

One sleep until Halloween.

Two sleeps until my Christmas Tree goes up.

YAY on all counts.

Today we are dressing up at work.

Our group is dressing up as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves ….. complete with the Wicked Queen….

The girls decorated our area so we are reminded of the fairy tale.

Mmmm ….. butterflies ……. banners flying (castle)…..trees …… we have a creative bunch.

I am excited to see how everyone dressed.

I am one of the dwarves …. GRUMPY …… I just was having an off day when they were deciding who would be who.

OH well …… someone has to do it.

I will share some photos later.

Alvin was wondering why I was dressing the way that I am ……

On this day where children will be dressing up to go to school and parents dressing up at work …..

Keep your eyes peeled for folks in costumes and who may not be able to see clearly from behind masks and such.

Thought for the day….

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday, the 14th day of June 2013.

TODAY IS MY “777” blog and that is my number ….. my self designated great fulfilling lucky wonderful number.

It has also happened on a Friday which is the day of the week, that I was born.

Also this morning I noticed that the roses along the pathway by the lake are in full bud and will be filling the air with their beautiful fragrance very soon.

They so remind me of my Grandma Stella who was had a green thumb……

So I feel crazy wonderful and fantastic this morning.

Today is the day …..

I am so happy to be sharing this day with you.

The sun was just coming up this morning when Alvin and I walked at 5:00 and the little birdies were singing to us as we walked along.

I felt just like Snow White …. with the birds singing to her.

I am so glad that you have chosen to come along with me along this journey.

I love to write and have been doing so since I was eight or at least that is how far back I remember writing.

I loved words as a child.

I always did extremely well in spelling tests.

So it is on this day that I celebrate how far I have come and I know now that I can do it.

So book here I come …..

I have the weekend off Saturday through Monday from both jobs so wonderful time at home with Alvin and my grand-puppies.

Their parents have a wedding to attend.

Lucky me to be surrounded by the three of them for the weekend, I am so grateful.

Well time to go …. spend the day at the office and then off to the store.

We are having a semi-annual sale at the moment so it will be busy ….. just the way I like it.

So have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading my blog and giving me the courage and support to carry on writing.
