2021

Good Morning ALL! How are you doing this morning? We are doing great. Bed about 10:00 p.m., first time up at 4:00 a.m. and then again at almost 6:00 a.m. – feeling rested this morning. I hope that you had a good sleep as well. The sun is shining brightly this morning and I feel that it is going to be an awesome day. Today we get an estimate to replace our shingles. It will be a relief to have them replaced as they are in poor condition despite the age of them. They were not a good quality and were not properly affixed to the roof. Most of the folks in our neighbourhood have or are replacing them. Yesterday my kids changed their cell phone provider, one of those “visits” to the door kind of thing and then because something had to be done with my phone in person, my kids had to make an “emergency” trip to my house. They brought the pups. It was great to see them all. What a whirlwind of an evening. After supper I went for groceries as well. All is fixed now and the fridge is full once again. Wow, fruits and vegetables are sure expensive these days. Also a gal from work who placed a tea order a while back is coming for an outside visit and to pick up her tea. We will be walking after work as the shingle estimator is coming at noon. I am so happy to see the sun shining so brightly. My flowers are looking so pretty this morning. A warm day on the way, about +24 degrees celsius.

Now that was a paragraph jammed packed full of a mix of things. No rhyme or reason, just the way things spill out of my brain.

We are watching Cynder, Humphrey and Bogart this weekend while their Momma is taking a weekend trip. She deserves a break as she has been working so hard. I am excited to spend time with them. Might even bring the cats to our house.

Also before I forget. The night before last, I was having a craving for something sweet. So what happened next? I baked some cookies. No chocolate chips? Nope. I made using my base chocolate chip cookie recipe a new cookie blend. I made the most delectable cookies with “raisins and coconut.” Just happen to have lots of those sweet items on hand so that is what I used. The different chew between the raisins and the coconut” made them ultra chewy and mmmm good.

Time to get this show on the road. Get the coffee brewing (premade earlier this morning).

Wishing you a wonderful day. May you laugh and have so much joy this Thursday.

Continuing to live with kindness, respect, compassion, patience, love, gratitude always.

Always, Love Carol & Alvin

Almost Christmas 2020

Good Morning ALL. Only two more sleeps until Christmas Eve and the fun begins. WE are all going to have some fun. Play some games, sing some songs, watch our favourite Christmas movies, eat delicious food and snacks and enjoy our time together. Whether we are alone or together with family and friends we can enjoy this time. I am blessed as I have Mr. Alvin to keep me company and he certainly enjoys some good food. The playing games might be a bit difficult but we could always play with his toys. He loves his new toy from his friend and pal down the street Miss Bailey. The point is, we all know that this Christmas is not going to be the same for a multitude of different reasons. Christmas will come and go much the same as most years. It is up to us how we handle each moment of this time.

This morning the white stuff is falling from the sky. The sky was overcast last night so we missed seeing the Conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn. I was so looking forward to the possibility of seeing that rare point in time. In fact this has been the first time in 400 years that it has been close enough to see with the naked eye. How cool is that? Luckily it was not cloudy everywhere and others have shared those rare photos. Very exciting. “THE GREAT CONJUNCTION” it has been dubbed. Next time it will be 2080 before the planets align so closely again.

Yesterday my last tea order arrived at noon out of the blue. No email advising that it was even shipped but I will not complain as I am happy that my customers/friends will have their orders for Christmas as some were gifts.

Looks like shovelling will be in my future. Time to go and pick up those “packages” that Mr. Alvin so kindly leaves behind for me in the backyard. I am grateful that we had a nice walk yesterday. Hopefully the snow is at a minimum so we can walk at lunchtime today.

I hope that you are having the best Tuesday (ooops, I almost said Wednesday). It is a good day. We definitely will have a White Christmas. Take care and be in good health. If we only can live our lives with kindness, respect and compassion – what a wonderful world this would be.

Have an awesome Tuesday Everyone.

Time to get that coffee ready and get this day going. We are down to two out of seven from our immediate team. Lots of mail came in yesterday for myself and another team member who is on Christmas vacation. I am doing my best to ensure most or all of the mail is done before Christmas. Maybe today the phones will be quiet. Fingers crossed.

Always, Carol & Alvin

Second Half of the NEW YEAR – last quarter.

Good Morning All. Well it is much later than usual for me/us to rise for the day but that is okay because it is Sunday. The sun is rising and erasing the night sky. It is kind of overcast out there and definitely felt cooler than yesterday morning about the same time. Yesterday ended up being an different day according to my plans. Teddy’s Mom texted to see if we wanted to go over for a visit. So how can we turn down an invitation to socialize with friends, cannot be done. Besides we are very mindful of the rules. I will call them rules. Rules are put into place for a reason and in this case a very good one. I got some cleaning and laundry done before we headed out for a walk and a visit. The puppies Teddy and Kobi are always so happy to see us. I love how Kobi will stand up on her hind legs and place her front paws on my lap and then just look at me almost waiting for me to bend down and get really close to her face. SO cute. She will just gaze intently into my eyes and then lick my nose. I love them. Teddy always has to sit on my lap and have a few minutes of snuggles with “Aunt Carol.” Iris is a generous kind being. She reminds me of a real life “Mrs. Klaus,” so kind and sweet. Our visit was great. During the visit – Iris who happens to be an “Energy Healer” gave Mr. Alvin a session. So happy for that. She was able to clear out some old dead energy that had been blocking him since he was a puppy. At one point early on, his eyes got very bright ….. like a fog had been lifted and even the white fur around his “mouth” got more white. You had to see it to believe it – it is the truth. I was so excited. When we were dressing to leave, she asked me not to put on his sweater as it would cover the old energy still leaving his body and then to wash his harness. It is liken to just having a bath and putting on your dirty clothes. Alvin virtually ran home. He was definitely full of energy. Once home, I made sure to place his sweater and harness into the next load of laundry. Last night I finished the laundry, worked on my craft project (yes, I did), made some energy bites and a few other things. Just before bed I watched an interview via INSTAGRAM between Katie Couric and a young woman named “Robyn.” I hope that I remembered the spelling of her name. I have always like Katie as we are the same age, both born in 1957. Her birthday is in January and mine in August. We both have daughters, she has two and I have one. She has Molner and I have Mr. Alvin. Now just recently, I think it was at the office that one of the “younger staff” after I had given them a Christmas Card had thought Alvin was a my husband as I signed the card “Carol & Alvin.” I guess likely anyone who did not know us, me well might think that. I thought it was cute. Trust me most days he feels like a very needy husband although I am pretty sure that husbands don’t need the door opened to go outside to pee. Although you never know. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Katie and Robyn speaking and the fact that they had “dressed up” and the difference between a 63 year old’s dressing up and a thirty something’s. One with a wrap and evening gown and the other with a leather jacket, dressy top and leggings (I think). The younger one quickly grabbed an evening gown and put it over top of her clothing minus the leather jacket. I haven’t laughed as much as I did listening and watching these two women. Robyn is a comedienne who recently made it to “fame” after one video went viral. Bedtime was very late last night.

Plans changed for today. My daughter was going to come for a visit but will be coming tomorrow instead which is fine. I am just happy to see her whenever it is possible. In about one hour a gal from work is stopping by to pick up her tea order. So I had better get this show on the road, er I sure say that alot, don’t I ? Then we will go for a walk and then I will give the boy, Mr. Alvin a haircut and bath. Later I will work on the craft project. There are a few little things that I have to finish up like bringing up the laundry that is drying on racks in the basement, emptying the dishwasher, washing the main floor – floor. That kind of stuff.

I hope / I wish you all a great Sunday. Please check out that INSTAGRAM interview with Katie Couric and Robyn, You will be happy that you did. Take the time to do something nice for someone. Yesterday I delivered a Christmas Card and photo of us to a family down the street. I had tried to deliver another day but no one was home except for the doggies and trust me they wanted to get that door opened. I received a text from the Mom (the sitter was there when I dropped off the card) this morning to say thank you so much for the card and photo. They have three little boys. The middle son most especially loves Mr. Alvin and he was so happy to have a photo with Alvin in it. That warms my heart. Made my Sunday morning reading those words.

Well time to fly. Need COFFEE now.

Be safe and well and happy. May you spend some time today in laughter. Laughter is truly the best medicine.

Happy Sunday.

Living this life with kindness and respect.

Always, Carol & Alvin

Second Half of the NEW YEAR – last quarter

Good Morning All. How are you doing on this fine Wednesday? I am doing great. The Steeped Tea or Sipology order arrived perfectly yesterday. Two friends have already come and picked up their orders. I am so grateful that we were able to have a COVID 19 visit meeting the protocols. Masks and social distancing. Today another gal is coming to pick up hers and I am delivering one to another friend who lives close by. The delivery arrived in time for me and Alvin to head out for a walk during my lunch break. The wind was a bit cool but otherwise divine. Good old fashioned “fresh air” can be so uplifting.

Mid week. I always like mid week. Wednesday is the date that my daughter was born. I even had the pleasure of choosing her actual birthdate. Something not maybe Moms are able to do. She was born by c-section so it was a planned “event.” As she grew up I soon realized that perhaps I should have chosen a couple of days later due to paydays but who knew that was ever going to be a thing. Anyway we, she, me all survived to tell the tale. Life is always what you make it. I am once again reading some books by Mike Dooley. THE UNIVERSE guru. I so enjoy reading his books as he gives us a different perspective on living our lives. Always good to learn new things and then reread books to remind us, just in case a Pandemic has hit and all good and common sense has gone out the window. Because clearly in some cases, this has happened. Always be mindful of what you can do not only for yourself but for others. Our THOUGHTS DO BECOME THINGS. Those things drive your life. “think about it.” If you are continually thinking I am tired – you will be tired. If you are always thinking no one likes me or I am no good or I am unlucky – then you will be all of those things. Experiment, if you don’t think this could be true. Also I am quite certain that in 2020 you have heard of a “little known book” called THE SECRET. Just try – what do you have to lose, nothing. You can even take the book out of the library if you do not have access or the means to a copy.

Well almost time for me to head on back downstairs. This 1.5 hours or so in the morning (sometimes shorter) always seems to evaporate. Most especially when I sit down to write. The words seem to pour out of me some days and then it is time to go to work.

I wish you good health, that you are safe, that you are kind and respectful to yourself and to all others. It is the only way to live your life.

As Always, Carol & Alvin

P.S. one of these days I am going to surprise you with some new photos and likely myself as well.

Second Half of the NEW YEAR – last quarter.

Good Morning ALL. A bit colder outside this morning. Well I had a good day downtown at the office. My daughter picked me up in the morning. Alvin was not really sure what was going on as I have only been away for the entire day twice since March 19, 2020. Can you imagine? I have been away to the office three times since March 19, 2020 but one was for a few hours to attend a meeting. My neighbour Sonja came over and checked on him a couple of times letting him outside and giving him one of his cookie/biscuit treats. The parcel from Steeped Tea did not arrive and the status went to pending but finally this morning it is showing an arrival date of today. For some reason they pushed it to today. Likely got behind in deliveries, I get that. It was nice to see a few people. Three in fact. That was all of the people that I saw at the office. Everyone practicing the COVID 19 safety protocols. I am grateful. I was able to get everything done early and then had time to actually put the postage on all of the letters / packages I had stuffed. First time using that fancy new machine. It worked pretty slick. I was so happy that I could help out our Support Services team. They work so hard. My daughter picked me up about 3:50 p.m. and we headed to Shoppers before going home to Alvin. I had a couple of parcels, card to go overseas and other Christmas cards within Canada. So happy to get everything posted. The gal in the “Post Office” said that it was so busy earlier and she was working alone. Isn’t that always the way? Also, I remembered to pick up extra stamps just in case I forgot to send a card to someone. Amanda and I always have good conversations on the car rides. I mentioned to her that one of the Support Services team was curious if I was following politics. I asked him “do you mean the U.S. elections.” He said “Yes.” So we chattered about the results. He thinks that there is voter fraud and I was very surprised to see that he sided with Trump. Not necessary Trump himself, but the Republicans. Anyway, I shared my knowledge of the U.S. Elections and was shocked by my articulation of the process. I have done lots of reading and I actually know stuff. Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and opinions. Realizing that I don’t know as much about our own government, I have vowed to do some research. I used to know the details but over the years have kind of forgotten. Time to do some reading.

The Pampered Chef order arrived yesterday so that was good.

Well it is time to head back downstairs, put on the coffee, put on the poop and get to work. I had to hit the “snooze” button this morning.

Living with kindness and respect for all. “Even when people do not have the same beliefs and opinions as ourselves.” (most importantly then).

Always, Carol & Alvin

Second Half of the NEW YEAR …. final quarter

Good Morning All. Some of us set our clocks back one hour last night or this morning. When Alvin woke up several hours ago I looked at my phone that I had charging in the bedroom and it said 1:14 a.m. Alvin is not unlike me and has to go pee in the middle of the night so up we got and outside he went. I watched. He did his business and came into the house and then we hit the sofa for more sleep. I noticed that the clocks on the stove and microwave had said 2:16 when we went downstairs. My phone automatically updated to the correct time. I am always confused for the first few days. Reminding myself to change all of the clocks. Anyway the next time we got up my phone said 6:44 and the stove/microwave said 7:44 a.m. and it feels later not earlier. So up we have stayed at the revised time of 6:44 a.m. Alvin had his breakfast. For the second day I have noted that he has not eaten all of his food. Yesterday he ate his biscuits treats, banana and carrots and his supper with no issues. So perhaps he is beginning to get full on less in the morning. I guess we have been eating at different times lately. So important to get back on a schedule for both of us. Eating at same times at good for us and for digestion.

The sky is begin to lighten as the sun starts to rise in the morning sky. Did you bask in the glory of that Halloween Full Moon last night? How / what did you and your family do? Did the kids go treating? Did you hand out candy? I felt guilty as I did not hand out treats however I did pack up large treat bags and personally delivered them to all of the children that I know well in the neighbourhood. We had little visits with everyone and they showed off their costumes and candy delivery systems. I think that I had almost as much fun as other years. Almost. I kept peaking through the blinds to see if there were kids out and about. I only saw three or four total. Some of my friends reported having about 50 which is about half of normal amount of treaters. These friends said their children received huge amounts of treats as a result. I am happy to see that people took precautions for the safety of the children. Warms my heart that people were smart about Halloween in my neighbourhood. I can not speak for other areas but am happy that we did the right thing. In a little while once I am finished writing and dressed and had a cup of coffee, it will be time to go into the basement and start hauling up the CHRISTMAS decorations. Firstly, I will have to take down all of my Halloween decorations and pack them away. Down and then up. My daughter will come around noon and help put up the tree and I hope that by then, I will have most of the main floor decorated and furniture moved about ready for the tree.

I also entered but not submitted tea orders last night. I am so excited to get some HOT CHOCOLATE. The order will be submitted tonight as advised. Just waiting for a few more orders.

Also am excited that I booked tomorrow off as a vacation day. The temperatures for today and the following three days are to be double digits with warmest day being 15-16 degrees celsius which is very warm for this time of year. Must remember to change the calendar as well. Tomorrow will be a good time to give Mr.Alvin a bath and possible little trim.

Walking with Alvin will mean no sweater in these temperatures and light jacket or sweater for me.

Happy November 1st, 2020.

Well time to get this day going …. lots to do.

Living life with kindness and respect and happy to do so.

I/We shall remain, as Always, Carol & Alvin

Second Half of the NEW YEAR.

Wow, can you believe it …. September 1st, 2020 today.

Happy to see the sun shining but there is a breeze once again.

Crazy to think that we are entering the ninth month of the year.

This has been such a year of unimaginable events, tragedy and change.

Who would have thought back in January or February that come September we would have spent the majority of the year working from home.

I have wished and hoped for a very long time that I would be able to work from home.

But never in a million billion years did I think that I would be doing this job from home.

Never, ever.

For that I am truly grateful.

Thank you Universe.

While a good portion of the working population were able to work from home many others were laid off.

Businesses closed their doors never to reopen.

Some people had to work despite the dangers to their health and wellbeing.

Those are the people who work in hospitals, fire and police, grocery stores and pharmacies, plumbers, electricians and HVAC.

Businesses that were/are deemed essential services.

It has been a long road for them with no real end in sight.

Schools closed down and children stayed at home with some doing online studies.

Many people worldwide have lost their lives to this pandemic.

Our lives may never be the same.

While schools are beginning to reopen and some folks are heading back to work; it is different.

We will be wearing masks when in public.

We will continue to wash our hands frequently and sanitize our work stations, doors, handles of cupboards etc and our hands and perhaps most importantly social distance.

I think that is most important.

So many people are ordering everyday goods online that we are seeing more and more delivery services in our neighbourhoods.

Some businesses are running out of products or the processes have slowed down.

I know that both the NORWEX and Steeped Tea products that I have ordered did not take the usual week to be delivered.

Anywhere between 2-6 weeks for delivery is the norm unless you have ordered groceries or from Amazon.

Our lives have changed and I think forever.

We will look at how we do things much differently than we did in 2019.

Going forward I think that we will make much better decisions than we did in the past.

Or at least I hope so.

Well it is now time to head downstairs, grab my coffee and get signed onto the computer for work.

I have so much to do and hopefully will have an extra productive day.

I wish you a great day.

Be safe and take care.

Be kind and respectful.

I/We shall remain,

As Always, Carol & Alvin

Second Half of the NEW YEAR

Good Morning and today is Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

We had a huge storm last night which started late in the afternoon.

The sky got so dark that when the lightning hit, it appeared like a bright negative from a photo.

It was eerie.

The thunder roared.

The lightning seemed to be right close by.

I would think there was a lightning strike somewhere close by.

Thankfully not here.

This morning now at mid morning the sky is a bright blue and there is a breeze.

The pavement and sidewalk are dry but the wood deck remains wet as does the grassy areas.

Almost time for us to head out for a walk.

When we first got up there were still rain clouds in the sky and although I love to walk in the rain, not great for the boy.

He can get yeast infections in his ears if they get wet.

Well this is mid point through my second week of vacation.

I have enjoyed my vacation thus far.

Odd jobs were completed and relaxation has happened.

I saw a post on FACEBOOK of someone mentioning that “fall” is here and Bath & Body Works have their fall collection out.

I love fall but officially it begins in September although I think both Mother Nature and the Retail Gods have other ideas.

Also on this vacation break I would like to go for a nice long walk with Alvin into some of the other neighbourhoods.

We have not left ours for awhile.

I will watch the weather channel for a nice day not too hot.

Appears that we have some of those days this week.

I will take lots of water for sure for us.

We can take our time and enjoy some of the parks that surround us.

I will have to take a small purse to house my cell phone so that I can take photos.

Two necessities: water and phone.

Well time to get dressed as I was super lazy getting up this morning.

Sometimes when it is raining and wet – I just want to laze around.

Alvin did not seem to care as he snuggled right beside me on the sofa.

My tea order will arrive on Friday.

I am excited to see our new Fall/Winter Steeped Tea catalog.

Also to try the new teas, there seem to be more this time round.

Also one of my friends from back home has sent me a birthday parcel and it should arrive today.

Alvin will be excited as our friend always sends a little gift for him to open.

He loves to open presents.

Yes, he is an odd doggie.

I guess he has been around me long enough to appreciate opening a gift, a present.

He is patiently waiting for his Momma to get the show on the road.

Appears that I could actually wear long pants today and not be hot.

Wow.

I am wishing all of our friends with birthdays on this day – Happy Birthday.

I am sending positive energy and good thoughts to our Aspen who has been under the weather.

Happy Wednesday.

Oh, that cool breeze coming in through the office window is simply delightful.

Living our lives with kindness and respect, always.

I/We, shall remain

As Always, Carol & Mr. Alvin

One of my fav birthday gifts from this year.

Actually all my gifts are my favourites.

One early evening out on the back deck enjoying the evening.

It is a NEW YEAR.

Well Good Morning All,

It is windy, overcast and warm here in Edmonton.

This morning I am hosting the birthday party for one of my younger friends.

I was hoping to have the party on the deck but it appears that I will have to wait until the last minute due to the skies and wind.

Perhaps we shall have coffee on the deck and grab our snacks from the house and just take them outside.

Time will tell.

There is a few minutes less than 2 hours till start time.

There will be four of us ladies as the birthday girl is bringing her Mother.

I have not seen her for awhile so it will be nice to catch up.

I have already prepped our snack which is a fruit tray of strawberries, blueberries and watermelon.

Actually three bowls filled with the delectable fruits.

The bowls are tupperware and so colourful.

I thought if we were outside, with lids would keep bugs out more easily.

All taste so yummy as I had to try them while I was getting them washed and prepped.

It has been a bit since I had watermelon and it is ripe.

The watermelon as well as the berries are from COSTCO.

Will be sending watermelon home with the girls as it is just at the perfect eating stage and will not last for long.

I am hoping that it is okay this morning after I cut up half of the large melon early last evening.

We are also having a strawberry shortcake from COSTCO.

It looks so good.

Nice and light and yummy.

We will have coffee as our liquid refreshment.

One of the girls not the birthday girl is very fussy about her drink so she always brings along her tea bag.

I have tried to convert her to Steeped Tea over the last five years but to no avail other than she loves our Sangria teas in ginger ale.

Well help from my daughter yesterday we gave Alvin one of his best hair cuts ever.

With her help the hair cut was done in just a bit over one hour and then the bath took a handful of minutes compared to the usual 3+ hours by myself.

He looks so handsome.

Perhaps I should have snapped a photo, cannot believe that I forgot.

She also helped with a few other chores around the house.

I feel like I did not get much housework done like washing the floors and dusting.

The floor honestly look okay and dusting …. well there are not many dust bunnies hanging around.

With my injured foot, I have been trying to be a good girl and stay off it here and there.

As my son-in-law said yesterday when he came to pick up my daughter …. “it looks like it” ….. meaning not really.

It is hard to keep me down especially when I have company company.

The bruises were definitely more prominent yesterday as the day progressed and even this morning.

My baby toe and the next one are badly bruised with the little one taking the brunt of the injury.

The top almost half of my foot from my toes upward is bruised.

Definitely looks worse than it feels.

I really have not had much pain but I am blessed as I have a high tolerance.

Which I suppose can also be a problem.

Anyway, other than taking it slow up and down the stairs and I am good.

I elevate the foot when I am sitting down.

Icing it from time to time.

Alvin for some unknown reason, decided to be up multiple times during the night from about 11:00 p.m. onward.

We were up to stay up just before 7:30 a.m. so I feel a bit on the tired side.

Perhaps an afternoon nap will be in store for us later.

He is napping now.

Well I suppose that I should hit the shower and get dressed.

I want to have a cup of coffee before the girls arrive.

Make sure that I have things ready although I will say that having my friends over is less stressful.

We are pretty laid back when it comes to our get togethers.

I have the gift wrapped and the card written up.

Cake and goodies are ready.

Just have to make the coffee and decide on where I am going to set up.

I actually wrote on the “new section of the fence” in chalk “Happy Birthday ….. ” and drew some flowers (my version of a flower).

I have a birthday banner and I will hang it after my shower.

So wherever we are you will know it is a birthday.

Long gone are the days of balloons and streamers.

I do not like balloons and do not use them anymore.

Bad for animals and for the environment.

Okay time to fly here.

It is almost 8:30 and I have a short list of things that I would like to do before the guests arrive.

I hope that you have an awesome Sunday.

Living with kindness and respect,

I/We remain,

As Always Carol & Alvin

It is a NEW YEAR.

Welcome to Friday morning and it is raining and windy here in Edmonton.

Started to rain in the early evening.

Not constant.

How are you this morning?

I am well.

Couple of things.

We were up I would say about 5:00 a.m.

Alvin had his breakfast and did his business in the backyard of course.

Then we hit the sofa for some extra zzz’s.

I must have fell into a fairly deep sleep quickly as I had the most unusual dream.

When we woke up and I started to write in my “Gratitude Journal,” I found myself writing quickly about this dream.

Some of the details were fresh in my memory.

Which is unusual for me.

I madly wrote them down and filled the page before I knew it.

I made connections with some things that happened over the course of the day.

The premise of the dream was: I was in my Grandmother’s house in the small town where she lived decades ago (I lived there at one point with her).

There was this dog, not Alvin.

I had given him a haircut which was a perfect replica of a dog, a clone.

Not even the same dog.

After it dropped to the counter or whatever the surface was, it basically came alive.

From just what would have been a haircut.

The original dog was not hurt or anything but now there were two dogs.

I remember being frightened of this second dog but it was so cute.

There were a great many things that happened in this dream.

There was another woman with me with the dogs.

Almost feels like other people but I am not sure.

At one point I am sitting in the passenger side of a white SUV.

Waiting for someone.

It was winter out as I remember seeing snow.

We were pulled over near a sidewalk.

There were two Real Estate Agents with signs that opened the back door of the SUV and were in and out with their signs as they tried to put them up.

When I finally had enough and climbed into the driver’s seat, they yelled “don’t run him over” and there was this third Real Estate Agent behind the car.

It was odd and creepy and weird.

I looked for traffic as a car slowed and waited for me to pull out.

The street that I turned onto was busy but I finally got turned.

When I turned the street some cigarettes started to fall out of a little nook in the steering column near the wheel.

OMG, strange.

I remember hearing a conversation between the woman and the house and another …. the woman was explained some things …. I don’t remember the details now.

But she called me the B word.

Yikes.

Well that is it.

That was an odd one.

So I have been watching a lot of “Love It or List It,” lately.

I saw a white SUV drive by yesterday.

The second dog was PLUTO the newest Canadian sensation.

I recognized the town as where I lived for a short time with my Grandma.

She lived there for more than 25 years.

Anyway, I was going to post some photos and I see by the clock on the “wall” that it is almost time for me to grab my coffee and start the work computer.

I might try and post a few from the week that was …..

I was trying to snap some artistic photos of my flowers and a glass flower from different angles.

Well some turned out better than others.

Then there was Alvin and Humphrey on the deck.

You can see Humphrey sitting on the deck post with the beautiful sunrise behind him.

My first ever BUBBLE TEA sold my Steeped Tea of course.

Well that was the week that was …..

I hope that you had a great one.

Remember to live in kindness and respect.

We got this.

I/We Remain,

As Always, Carol & Alvin
