It is a NEW YEAR.

Oh what a beautiful morning!

Oh what a beautiful day!

Two of the lines from an old old song.

It is truly a beautiful morning.

The sky is a crisp blue with a splash of white clouds.

The sun is shining so brightly as it warms up the cool ground and all above it.

Tuesday it is today.

Already June 9th, 2020.

Yesterday we enjoyed a walk at lunchtime.

After work our walk was cut short by Mr. Alvin.

For some reason he saw a man coming and wanted to turn for home.

I am not sure if he actually saw the man or if he just wanted to go home.

Anyway 1.5 walks is okay.

The weather report for the next couple of days is 21 degrees celsius.

We shall take that and run.

So incredibly to have sunshine and over 20 degrees celsius.

We have had days recently that did not make it to double digits.

For June that seems out of the norm.

This Thursday morning,  Mr. Alvin goes to the Vet to have his annual teeth cleaning.

I am not fond of leaving him but I do know he is in great hands and that they love him.

So that helps.

One thing that I do know for sure is that he will not be a happy puppy.

Hopefully he won’t have to wait long.

When he wakes up – he is always ready to go home.

Usually they keep patients until later in the afternoon.

Not Alvin, they give me a call as soon as he wakes up.

Off, I go to pick him up.

He does well.

Hopefully his teeth are in good health and only requires a cleaning.

Fingers crossed.

Sorry have to cut this short as the boss is calling.

Perhaps he has to go outside once again.

Never take chances.

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday.

Filled with love and laughter.

With kindness and respect.

I/We shall remain,

Always, Carol & Alvin

Thought for the day ….

Good Morning and Welcome to Saturday the 7th day of July, 2018.

One week into July, 2018.

Up early this morning as Master Teddy is spending the day with us.

Outside the air is a bit cool which is refreshing.

Windows open to take advantage of that coolness.

Yesterday was a HOT one.

We managed to get through it.

Was grateful that I was able to pick up groceries on way home from work last night.

Also grateful that our office closes early at 3 p.m. on Fridays during the summer months.

Still made it home close to regular time in carpool.

The sky has the most glorious looking marshmallow fluffy white clouds dotting the powder blueness, this morning.

Okay, perhaps that is a mouthful, but oh, so true.

We went to bed early as I am reading one of the books in the series of the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series.

Such good books.

You truly feel like you living in Botswana, Africa.

With the majestic landscapes and friendly peoples.

Do you ever feel like you are all over the place?

That is me this morning.

I had a good sleep or perhaps should have had .. but the heat plays havoc with one’s sleeping patterns.

Still feeling a bit sleepy but perhaps a nap later.

It is Saturday after all.

I know once I get into the swing of things …. like laundry, making breakfast, coffee, Teddy’s arrival etc. …… I will be AWAKE.

I do remember a small piece of a dream from early this morning.

I was going to cross a busy street and there was a light.

On the other side were a bunch of people that I knew …. seems like they were saying good-bye to someone.

Beside me out of nowhere appeared a big black dog.

He had a collar and seemed to be friendly.

I wanted to grab his collar to keep him safe from the traffic.

When the light changed to GREEN and WALK, he seemed to know it was time to walk.

He stepped out onto the street and took a few steps, and before I could even take a step.

He was back beside me.

It was at that moment that I turned around a saw a giant grey WOLF not far away from us.

In that split second I glanced up and noticed in the other direction at the gas station, there were several large grey wolves.

All that I remember was people screaming across the way and the big black dog had got between me and the wolf.

Next thing I know I am out of danger but see that the big black dog is on the ground.

He is not moving.

I think that he is dead.

Woke up.

Time to go.

Have an awesome Saturday.

Special Hello to: my sister, our lives, hey.  Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks.

Always, Carol & Alvin

Thought for the day….

Good Thursday morning and today is June 21st, 2012….

The first full day of SUMMER ….. SUMMER….. Yes, S-U-M-M-E-R ….. has finally arrived.

Here in Edmonton we had about 17 hours of light yesterday.

When I went to bed last night at about 10:20 ….. it was still light outside.

Isn’t that incredible!

The morning sky here as I look out my office window is the most glorious pale blue with a few white clouds lining the horizon to the south.

WOW.  Love it.

Well, I am gearing up for the weekend (today is my last day of work-work for this week).  I am having a garage sale with my daughter and a friend from down the street.

Some of my other neighbours as well will be joining in ….. a back lane sale if you will.

I am so excited.

It is so great to meet new people and connect with ones that you haven’t seen for awhile.

Well it is almost time once again to put the finishing touches on …. before leaving for work.

I hope that wherever you are …. life is treating you kind, and that you are treating life, kind in return.

Remember what you reap …. you sow.

Wish me luck on my garage sale ….. I am visualizing empty shelves, tables and floor ….. having sold every single item in the sale.

Take care.

Special Hello to: all those folks who go to garage sales ….

Always, Carol and Alvin
