Thought for the day……

Good Morning and Welcome to Thursday the 7th day of March, 2013.

How are you this fine morning?  Great, I hope.

I have been thinking about my “thought from yesterday” about self-worth.

It has been on my mind since I wrote those words.

Mainly because there was so much more that I could have written had I the time.

But I guess everyone knew what I meant.

Thank you for the lovely comments.

So on this fine morning ….. I was so happy when Alvin wanted up on my lap as I wrote in my gratitude journal.

He hasn’t done that in awhile.

Just like a little child who wants to be cuddled.

He made his Momma feel wonderful and what a grand way to start the day.

Back on track ….. I think we are all blessed in that we can make choices.

Sometimes those choices may be less than perfect but we have them to make.

I do know from the experiences that I have had most especially over the last few years that the thoughts that took over my mind were the ones that took on a life.

I do believe that for the most part we are what we believe and think.

So from this moment forward take on a new mantra …..  how about ….. I am in great health.  I am happy.  I am worthy and deserving of the life of my dreams.  I am abundance.

Something like that …..

I do keep telling myself over and over again that I matter, I am both worthy and deserving and then I just have to believe those words.

Well time to fly here.

I hope that you have a wonderful day.

Think great thoughts and then believe them.  Oh, and be thankful.

Trust in yourself.

Special Hello to all those believers……

Always,  Carol and Alvin

Thought for the day…..

Good Morning and Welcome to the 6th day of March, 2013.

Hello, I hope that this finds you feeling great and ready to take on the day.

Yesterday in a conversation the discussion came up of “feeling pride with oneself” …..

You know the feeling good when you have accomplished something …. big or small.

Knowing that you are a good person ….. feeling good with yourself.

There are so many people out there, myself included who have struggled with the knowing that you, we have done a great job.

I believe that it starts when you are a child.

If you do not have anyone cheering you on …. giving  you praise when you deserve it …… moulding your self-worth…

Then you grow up to have low-esteem.

I have struggled with low-esteem my whole life.

Unfortunately people think at first blush that I have a solid self as I am outgoing.

They are not one in the same.

I think that when children are small and for example when they are going to school …. we as parents help them study ….. then they do well on their tests and this builds self-worth, self-esteem.

Children need their parents help to grown and prosper …. mentally, physically and spiritually.

If you neglect your children and only yell at them “do your homework”  or “be quiet”  (for example) ….. then you are not helping to build self-worth.

I think some people are of course born with that good sense of themselves while most of us need some help to get started.

This is early in the morning so I hope that I am making sense.

But at the end of it all ….. and this took me fifty years to realize …. THAT WE ARE ALL WORTHY AND DESERVING HUMAN BEINGS.

Sometimes we stray and make mistakes …. but that’s okay ….. brush yourself off …… learn from the situation and be a better person for it.

Self-worth is something that we all have to work on every single day.

We are all important in the world …..

So have a great awesome fulfilling day ….. you are incredible, and me, too.   🙂

Thought for the day……

There are days in everyone’s lives when we forget to listen.

We forget to be silent.  We forget to love.

But I think that the most important things that we often forget or do not realize are:

So remember this Friday the 27th of May, 2011:

You are deserving.

You are worthy.

Listen, be silent and fill your world with love.

Have the best Friday of your life.

Always, Carol

P.S. to my dear friend Lea who moved to Quebec back in April.  We miss the love and laughter you brought to our lives.  Have the best day my little friend.

You are simply the best.  Alvin and I send our love to you……
