Thought for the day…..

Are there days when you wish for excitement?

Perhaps a surprise vacation.

Are there days when you wish for that knock at the door?

And you open the door to find the “Prize Patrol” standing there with a big cheque and a huge bouquet of roses and balloons – ALL JUST FOR YOU!

Are there times when you know that something FANTASTIC, AMAZING, AWESOME, INCREDIBLE is about to happen, and you wonder WHEN for Pete’s sake?

Are there moments when you just ask GOD, your Angels, a higher power or just your inner YOU …. what the heck am I doing?

Where am I supposed to be now?

What am I supposed to be doing?

Why, why, why?

Now we are starting to sound like a small child …..

But often I wonder at the end of the day or early in the morning …… WHY?

I have so many things that I want to do with and in my life and I should be doing them ALL.

I was just reading one of my favourite Blogs ….. THE PIONEER WOMAN – REE DRUMMOND

Now there is one busy woman.

She has children, home schools them, has a husband, lives on a ranch, has this incredible (too die for blog), is a cookbook author and now she has written a children’s book.

I want to be her.  Minus the children, husband and living on a ranch – my life much mirrors hers.

Actually I would love to have the husband and live on a ranch but my baby making days are over (thank goodness).

Now I look forward to the Grandma stage.

So someone please tell me, how do I get from here to there?

I just need a small boost – just a little “break” ….. after all, doesn’t everyone?

Well, a few minutes ago, there was a knock at my door.

My neighbour was standing there (not the prize patrol).

Through a conversation a few minutes later with her finance a light came on….

It was just the small boost that I needed.

So here I go.

So whenever you find that you need a “little boost” or a “break” ……

You too, might have a knock at your door or perhaps you might overhear a conversation that leads you somewhere….

or see a sign on a truck driving by or just inspiration from somewhere out there.

So that is my today …. my thought for the day……

It will always come to you ….. if you are AWARE.
